I always love to check out new beauty and makeup launches each season. There are my go-to products that I love, but I also enjoy incorporating some new items into my daily routine. I wanted to share some of my recommendations to try this spring. Some of these are already in my daily makeup and skincare routine and some are new products that I’m trying.

I haven’t heard any details yet, but I know the Sephora VIB Sale usually kicks off in April, so if you’re on the fence about some of the pricier products, bookmark this post and save those items for the sale.

Skincare Products

DRUNK ELEPHANT Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer–This moisturizer has been so amazing for the skin on my face. I’ve been using it once a day for the past month and I can notice a difference in the brightness of my face and evenness of the texture. If you’re looking for a new face moisturizer to even out your skin tone, this is the one to try.

Eye Makeup

URBAN DECAY Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette–This is by far the eyeshadow palette that I have reached for the most over the past few months. I use it just about every day and it is my most-recommended product. The shade range in the palette is great for every day or special occasions. It includes matte shades, shimmers, and metallics. I am a huge fan especially of the shades Riff, Drift, and Punk. If you were to take a look at my palette, you’d see those are my most used.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Riviera Eyeshadow Palette–The colors in this palette are GORGEOUS and so perfect for spring looks. I am a huge fan of colorful eye looks so this is right up my alley. If you also love color, I definitely recommend trying it out.

HUDA BEAUTY Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette–The Obsessions eyeshadow palette comes in a few different colors. I own the purple currently and I’m planning to pick up the green next. Each palette comes with nine different shades, some shimmer and some matte. What’s great about this palette is that it’s compact and convenient for traveling.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner–I love black eyeliner so much that when I don’t wear it, I feel like my eyes look “weird.” This liquid eyeliner is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever tried. It glides on easily and it doesn’t budge until you use makeup remover to take it off. When you’re looking to create the perfect cat eye, this eyeliner will not let you down!

Face Makeup

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer–I’ve been a big fan of Fenty Beauty for a while, ever since they released their Pro Filt’r Foundation a while back. They have a huge range of shades in this new concealer and it blends amazingly. I decided to match my concealer number to my foundation number and it gives me a great amount of coverage and brightens under my eye without being too bright. It’s great for every day use,

HOURGLASS Vanish™ Seamless Finish Foundation Stick–When I’m not using the Fenty Beauty foundation, this one is my go-to. I love the coverage it gives and the stick makes it really easy to apply. I also feel like this is nice to wear when it’s warmer outside; it doesn’t feel too heavy.

BECCA Sunlit Bronzer–Because I have a deep skin tone, I don’t normally experiment with that many bronzers (most are too light). However, the Becca Sunlit Bronzer in either Maui Nights or Ipanema Sun are so beautiful on my skin. So if you have a deep or dark skin tone, I recommend those shades. If you have a lighter skin tone, definitely try the other colors. I like the formula of this bronzer because it has a little shimmer but not too much, so it’s appropriate for everyday wear at the office.

TOO FACED Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder – Peaches and Cream Collection–If you love a matte makeup look, this powder is perfect! It smells like peaches and cream, plus it blends like a dream. No flashback, no white or powdery look either. As I said earlier, I have a deep skin tone, and this powder doesn’t leave my face looking ashy, which is great. They also just added a brown “caramelized peaches” shade, which might work better for skin tones that are deeper than mine, but I found the translucent shade worked fine in my case.

NARS Blush–Blush is hit or miss for me most of the time. Some shades are either too pink or too red. The Nars Orgasm blush is the perfect mix in my opinion. It gives off a cute pink shade with light shimmer to highlight your cheekbones nicely.

Lip Products

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick–I’ve been trying to branch out with my lipstick colors lately and Fenty Beauty recently released some new shades of their Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks and they are gorgeous. Specifically the shade Flamingo Acid, which is described as a bright berry, looks like a beautiful lip color for the spring.

HUDA BEAUTY Contour & Strobe Lip Set–The Huda Beauty contour and strobe lip set is phenomenal. I have it in two shades–Trophy Wife (rosewood) and Heartbreaker (red). Both sets come with a matte lip color, matching lip pencil and lip strobe topper. I like these because the matte lip color is comfortable to wear all day and the topper gives the color a nice shimmer to it. Plus, if you want the color but not the matte finish, the topper gives you a nice glossy finish.
